Dr. C I have a couple questions...
Hey Dr. C hope all is well with you just wanted to bug you with a couple of questions.
1.) I know that from what Erin said we are not supposed to be drinking 1/2 before or after you eat...right? sometimes I dont do that esp when we are out to eat..I usually sip while eating...is this terrible...or what are the concerns besides not being able to give your body the time to absorb the vit. from the food?
2.) Is there any over the counter meds that I should not be taking after surgery? Talking more like advil, or sinus meds or Ibprofin?
Just to let you know I have to check with Erin to make sure they are still having the support group on Tues....because I think I will have hit the 100lbs gone or a little more by then...
and I have officially started water aerboics and getting ready to meet with a personal trainer to start some weight training...so hopefully this helps me to keep losing...
thanks,

Donna,
The reason you shouldn't drink right before or after eating is that you will make a "soup" out of whatever solid food you've eaten, and it will slide right out of your pouch and you will be able to eat too much. You want your pouch packed full of solid food (protein) to stay full for a few hours. It may not be a problem now, but it can be in the long-run.
Stay away from aspirin, ibuprofin, or alleve as far as OTC meds, those are the main ones.
Congrats on your most excellent results!
C
