Mnday I have to go in for some tests on my esophagus. One sounds most unpleasant, a tube from my nose to my stomach..unsedated.. to check motility.....PRAYERS PLEASE. I am so not looking forward to this. Plus it may keep me from having my surgery. Thanks all Love and Peace pam

Hey Pam Don't know how much help I can be. I have had my Esophagus checked in 2004, but they went through my mouth and down my throat. and they put me to sleep to do it. Also I had throat surgery in 1989, They put a breathing tube up my nose and it was there for three days, I was awake when they took it out. That is an experience I never want to repeat. A couple of weeks after the breathing tube come out I had to have a scope done. They went up my nose and down my throat, I was also awake for that. although it wasn't as bad as the breathing tube. It was a most unpleasant experience. Well I wish you all the luck in the world with this and your life. Hope I was able to help just a little. Jimmy
