Individual Coverage with a CPAP?

I have a friend who currently uses a CPAP and is looking for individual insurance, she is not looking for coverage for WLS. However, she has tried several different companies and automatically has been denied due to her using a CPAP machine. She is prepared to pay for coverage, right now she is under COBRA from her last job and is paying about 2 grand per month. She needs to find something a little cheaper until she can get back into the job market. So any help or contacts that any of you have would be appreciated. Kym
