No more baby showers until I'm thin!

I'm not going to anymore baby showers until I'm thin. I went to my cousin's shower today. She is 3 weeks out from her due date & still wearing her prepregnency jeans, just a little lower. Tiny little thing. Also 2 of my other super pregnant cousins were there and they were tiny as ever. Well, have you ever played the game with the toilet paper sheets where you try to guess how big around she is?? Need I say any more???? Darlene

Well although I don't attend many baby showers, I know just how you feel. I always hate being around when some thin person says something about being fat or they have a fat butt and the whole room looks at me. It makes me feel ackward as hell. Sometimes I just want to go home and never leave my house again. I know that they don't do it on purpose, but it is the little things that hurt. Jimmy

I know exactly what you mean Barb! I used to listen to this woman I work with who is about 90 pounds complain all of the time about how fat she was! I used to want to smack her too! Had to laugh when I read your post! Now she asks to borrow my jacket that I wear! How life changes! Cathy Who still can't believe how happy she has become!

The worst part was when one of my cousins started talking about how big the others boobs were & she said,"yes, but I mean you have big boobs and a tiny waist, not like fat people who have big boobs, gross!!" I walked around the corner & they were all like, "sshhhh." and then an awkward silence. Big sigh!!! Darlene

People can be so rude. They need to think before they speak. And be more considerate with others feelings. I am just sick of ignorant people. and that is what people are when they cant use their brain to have enough sense to keep their mouths shut. Not relizing they are hurting someones feelings.
