help
I never got a "book" per say. They printed up a red binder with all the information in it. I keep it next to me still, as a refresher. The classes I took were multi displinarian classes. We met every Monday from 7-8:30 if I remember right, for 3 months. I saw a dietician, Kelly( my exercise queen) and a behavorial counsler on rotation. We discussed good and empty calorie foods (per angela my dietician there is no 'bad' food just food with empty calories lol) I learned how to eat. I figured at almost 400lbs that's something I KNEW how to do was eat. Boy was I wrong. I learned alot about me being an emotional eater and what to do as an alternative. I can honestly say that if I, personaly, never took the classes from OSU I would not be able to use my tool as it was intended. They have a free introduction meeting every monday at 6pm at the center on Kenny rd. Any other questions please ask & I'll try to answer them. And no, I'm not in any way affiliated with OSU, just very thankful for the classes and experience I needed to do this right!
