Hello everyone! Have a question for anyone. I am 11 months out and have lost 130 lbs. (369 to 239) Since December I have been bouncing back and forth between 244 and 239 with the last two months staying at 239. I have been watching what I eat and trying to drink more. I have also added a protein "snack" (usually 1 oz of cheese) midmorning and midafternoon. I just can't seem to get below 239. Any suggestions to get the weight loss kick started again? Thanks Aimee

Well I haven't had me WLS yet but I read a lot about it. Sounds to me like you have hit a plateau. My two suggestions would be either wait it out, it will probably start again eventually. Or I have heard a lot of people talking about going back to the basics, this mean restart your liquid diet and proceed from there. This will usually break a plateau, so I have heard. Jimmy

I was on a plateau for two months YUCK! I bought a $20 trampoline and a "Walk and Jog" DVD. I do 30 minutes a day in front of the TV. It's easy and I've started losing again. I don't know what the RNY diet is like since I have the Lap-Band, but I also have a PDA with a program called "Exercise and Diet Assistant" that I keep track of what I eat. It calculates the calories and tells me how many that I have left for the day. It even takes in account the exercise that you put in, the amount of carbs, protein and fat that you eat. I just love it. Cathy P Lap-Band 235/139/140
