Hello...I'm New
My name is Stefanie and I live in Macedonia, Ohio. I am 30 years old, have two beautiful girls and a wonderful husband of 11 years. I am 5'5" and weigh 290 lbs.
I have been researching WLS for some time now, and I am on Obesity Help all the time reading the messageboards.
I am seeing Dr. Eyeman in Parma for my WLS. I am doing a 6 month physician supervised weight loss program now and am 4 months into it at this point. I have not lost weight, but am maintaining. My insurance requires that I do this for approval.
I am very nervous and scared, but am excited at the same time. The doctors office said that if the approval goes through, I am looking at a surgery date of either late May or June. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hello" to everyone and thanks for all of your support 
Welcome to the board, I had medical mutual and did the supervised diet. I lost no weight it is hard to lose weight. Thats why we are here. When going to the doctor I told him I am trying and holding water. Have you yet tried for an approval? I did the 6 month supervised diet. They wanted the 5 years proof of weight loss and 2 co morbidies. I was ask to send in more info and to do the 6 month diet. I was approved 2 weeks after I finished the diet. I was so grateful.
Best wishes I had the surgery sept 21 I am down 70 pounds. I feel wonderful. I made the right choice.
