TOPPIK
Well I tried the toppik. It came yesterday and yes it works wonderfully. For some reason it makes your bald spots look like filled in hair. I cant believe it because I am really losing hair. It is a great product and now I don't need to worry anymore about buying a "wiglit" . This really does the trick. Go to google and look up TOPIC. Cindy
Good for you! I am glad that something is out there.
Cindy, did you lose most of your hair after weight loss or has this always been a problem.
I have had thinner hair since hysterectomy done 18 years ago. I am a little worried about hair loss following lap band. I think that is because one time on a strict low cal diet I had significant hair loss.
Hi Cindy!
I just wanted to throw in my two cents' worth here. I already had mildly, somewhat-thinning hair prior to surgery. But at about 3-4 months it started REALLY looking thin up there, especially around my face. I had been taking Biotin, plus I take lots of other vitamins and get in all my protein... it's so rotten to start getting bald, just when you're really looking your best otherwise! So, I've been wearing a wig for months. They are not that comfortable, but not unbearable.
Well, I am now 13 months out. FINALLY my hair has started filling in. I went for a real haircut yesterday and the beautician said I have LOTS of new growth (it's still very short), especially in the front! Yeehaw! I thought it would never come back. If I can fix my hair decent tomorrow, I'm wearing my own hair for a change.
Here's the kicker: it's curly. I never had a curl on my head (although I did have one lonely wave on the right side), and now it is curly!
That is the last thing I ever expected.
Now if I could just see the gray going away, it would be almost perfect!
Sending you good thought-beams for your hair to fill in SOON!
Love
Kitty
