Questions

I have a few questions about after the surgery. How long till you can Drive? how long are you on a clear liquid and full liquid diet? These arent questions that are going to affect my decision . Just wondering

There is no one answer for any of the questions you have. Each doctor is different. I could drive as long as I was not on pain killers and felt good enough to. I was only on liquid in the hospital 2 days. By the time I got home I could eat any soft food I wanted and could add meat as long as it was tender. The crock pot was my best friend. By about 7 days out I was trying Wendy's chili. Again every doctor is different it just depends on who you go with. Good Lyck, Robin

Each doc is different, each patient is different. For me, clear liquids one week, full liquids next 3 weeks... I had my surgery on Wednesday, left the hospital on Friday and was driving on Saturday. Went back to work at my part time job the following Saturday (9 days post op) and my full time job the next Monday (11 days post op).
