I need help
I am almost 2 months out and have only lost 46#'s. I had an appointment today and only lost 10#'s for 3 weeks! I'm still walking and only eating my 2 ounces a meal 3 times a day.any ideas as to why its coming off so slow? I heard that men lose quicker.the first month i lost over 30#'s but this month is slower.

Got my new pic up. My hair looks like crap I am gowing it out and cant do nothing with it. I got it dyed tonight. My daughter dyed it a dark brown. My gray is gone. and so much hair fell out in the tub. I mean a hand full. So I havent long hair in a few years. I hope it grows fast and I hope I can get away with it at my age.

Hey Rich,
I was there too yesterday! I think you are doing everything that they are telling you to. Sometimes your body needs to catch up with the weight loss so you may have a couple of slow weeks. Make sure that you are drinking all the fluids that you are supposed to. Are you getting in your 60 grams of protein a day? If not that will slow you down! If you need a suggestion for protein try Nectar protein! you get 23 grams of protein in an 8 ounce glass. I like the lemonade but there are other flavors out there. I buy my at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Congrats, Rich! You hit your first stall!!!
I, too have been only losing between 1-3lbs a week for the last few weeks. Do a self-inventory to make sure you're doing everything by the book and know that your body is still changing. I just changed a clothing size in the process. I've been told that this will pass, so I'm just looking at ea*****h down as still 'going down' and that's fine by me.
Great job on that 46#. You've kicked butt! I'm down 45 myself.
Rich,
You have lost what my 6 year old son weighs! lol! You have lost a small child in 2 months! Be happy! I have found that I lose alot of inches while not losing pounds. I have dropped many sizes while staying the same weight. I gurantee in 6 months you will be a happy man. Pre-op it took me 3 months to get off 20 pounds. I do notice the more I eat the faster I lose (good things of course). Sounds crazy but ya gotta get that protein in and you don't want your body to go into starvation mode where it wants to hang onto the weight. Sounds to me like your doing great and just keep up the good work.

Rich,
It sounds to me like you might not be getting enough calories and your body is holding onto what it has to keep you going. I still find it hard to convince myself that eating more helps you lose more. But sometimes thats what your body needs. Lots of protein, lots of water and kick up the workouts just a bit.
The best of luck to you, And keep up the great work

Dont panic I lost very quickly the first doc visit then nothing the second visit then only ten lbs the third when i went back for a three month check i had doubled my loss from the previous month. sometimes i think the body is just adjusting. Dont forget to measure yourself you will shrink as well this always made me feel a little better. Im not quite 4 months out and ive lost 84 lbs it will happen dont be discouraged. Just make sure you are eating enough and drinking your water.
