3 weeks post op
Well it has been 3 weeks since surgery. (12/12/05) and I am finally starting to feel better more of the time. I am waiting for that energy burst you all talk about, but it hasn't happened yet! I did start back to Curves today and did 1 circut. that;s about all I could handle today. Got measured too, and have lost about 19 inches from my first measurement in April '05. Cool! Todate I have lost 41lbs since 11/7 and 28 since surgery. I am doing the happy
for sure! I was a bit stupid last night and advanced my diet way too far ahead, but am back on track now. Hope everyone's new year is good!

I have had a great deal of energy since being released from the hospital. I guess I'm so happy to be alive and have a second chance I can't sit still. My mom is upset that I've already incorporated a 30 minute walking program into my day. I don't do it all at once, but take 2 walks, one in the morning and one at night. I'm looking forward to healing up enough to start doing more exercise. Maybe I'm so excited about this tool my surgeon set up for me I just can't wait to use it.
Here's to your energy burst!! May you be tremendously successful!!
Blessings,
Jacq
Jacq,
I am a firm beleiver in walking. I do 30 minutes or more a day. I have lost 12 inches from my waist. They say walking is the best excercise. I also do the Elliptical 3 times a week for 20 minutes. That is also a good workout. Doing that 20 minutes burns 225 calories. The reason it took me so long to get my burst is because I did have open surgery and it took so much out of me. I am glad your doing so well. That walking is going to trim you down fast. I make sure I get that walk in everyday. I am down as of today 67 pounds I feel like a new woman.
happy New years
