Help, infection on plastics!!!!

I am sorry to post this about plastics on this page but im very worried and I am posting over there too but not as many ppl seem to post as often there. I am going to Dr tomorrow to be seen about the wound I have from breast reduction and lift. I have developed a size of orange red area and open wound going on that im very worried about. I had complications where I was bleeding inside on the right breast after I came home the nite of surgery and had to have blood transfusion and its been a tough road. I have went to Drs each week where they tried to drain as much old blood out as possible. Then it started to drain on its own a tiny bit but not much. Now a week after last time of them draining its developed this redness. I am so scared of an infection that you could die from. I hate to over react but if anyone that had infections that could assure me it will get better please let me know...im so worried I have been crying. Someone I used to work with died recently of infection after surgery but I was a different hosp than they were. Help please and ty for hearing me...I was at OSU HOSPITAL in Columbus with Dr Buchelle

I wish I could help you. I had celulitus before my wls but diabetes had alot to do with that. Also the redness spread real fast.Just let the doctor determin what to do. He won't let anything happen I'm sure of that. Please post when you get home. We are very concerned about what the doc tells you. Love,Cindy

Do you have a fever? Is your area warm or hot. Why are you waiting until tomorrow. Get to the emergency room. I would not mess around with an infection. It sounds like you have been messing with this quite awhile. I cant understand why your doctor is having you wait until tomorrow. This is nothing to mess with. Huigs Barb
