encouragement needed!!!!!!!

Hi... I am new to this message stuff...but I sure would love to hear some encouraging words of hope & patience....I am sloooowly waiting for paperwork from my previous surgery, so I can schedule an appointment with my surgeon....I haven't prayed for patience, so I am not sure what God is doing with me right now LOL. Anyway I pray that everyone is doing great. May God Bless all of my sisters & brothers of OH/Oh...

Dear Lorraine, Welcome to our little big family here. I know it seems like forever and a day to get through all the paperwork and get your approval. And your patience does run thin. But in the longrun, I think all this is necessary to make sure you "really" are ready emotionally and physically for the procedure. I am months post op and have lost 140 pounds now, and so thankful that I was finally approved after a two year battle to get Ohio Medicaid to cover it. Dont ever give up on this dream!!!! It is well worth the wait and the aggravation that you have to go through to get there. I think it makes the victories seem so much sweeter... Things will go by fast. It took some time for me to get all my med records to my surgen because I was draggin my feet. Then I did and they said it was taking my insurance 6 months to approve. So I thought I would be waiting forever. I thought march or april I would be having my surgery. So two months (if even) I got denied. I thought they didnt look into my records enough because for everyone else it has been taking 6 months. I called them and asked for a hearing. Well they said the hearing will be the begining of Dec. Dec came, nothing. SO I called, and I was kinda upset because the women was nasty to me. And then I hung up, because I was fusterdated. And I figured I would get something the begining of the year. SO a few days later, i get a letter in the mail from them. They had a change of heart and approved me. YAYYYY. I always have bad luck, and since I have been approved things have been lookin up. Everything has been better. My attitude, my temper, lol my stress... much better. So please, dont get discouraged. It is very easy to. Now, I am so anxious that I cant wait for the surgery. I looked at your picture. You are a very pretty young lady. This surgery is amazing. My life has changed so much. Down 62 pounds in 3 months. Your going to do great. Cant wait to see you on the losing side. I did the 6th month diet. I just kept busy and cleaned my houise inside and out and ate plenty of last meals. Time went by so fast.. You will join us on the losing side before you know it. Happy Holidays Barb
