Almost 1 Year For me, Too!

My 1 year anniversary will be on December 17. Wow! It is hard to believe it has been a year. To all considering this surgery, I say "GO FOR IT!!!!!" It has changed me and my life so dramatically. I have lost 92 pounds and have went from a size 24 pant to a size 8; from a size 44DD bra to a size 36C; I can now wear a small ladies shirt. I see and feel bones; the double chin is gone! My blood pressure is now normal as is my cholestrol. Now the bad part. I have an incisional hernia. I am going today to see a surgeon about having it repaired. It is about the size of a softball. I work as a cashier a a local Walmart and have to do a lot of lifting of heavy items. That probably didn't help the situation any.

Hi Pauletta, Congrats on your year anniversary of your Rebirth. I am so proud of you and how far you have come. I too work at a Walmart store in the Electronics dept and do a lot of lifting as well. Last week when I began having belly pain I was sure I had a hernia, but thank Goodness it was just diverticulitis. Which is managable with antibiotics and diet. Keep up the Good work my sister in this WLS journey and fellow Wally World Employee. LOL Have a great rest of the weekend!! Hugs Laura
