Belly Pain

I had a cat scan this morning and the cause of my abdominal pain and nausea wasnt gallbladder or a hernia. I have a nasty case of diverticulitis. So I am on 2 antibiotics, some pain meds and an antinausea medication. So no more nuts for me ... But I am relieved that I wont be needing any surgery and this is manageable with meds and diet. So I am happy about that. Have a great day everyone. Love and hugs Laura

Margo, I hadnt a clue until the Dr explained it to me yesterday how dangerous it could be. I wondered why the Dr sent me out of the ER with 5 prescriptions and told me to take 2 days off work. He said while these pouches in the bowel are infected it makes them tear very easily.. So I am sure glad I went and got checked out before something worse happened. I am surely ready for life to return to normal and boring. LOL Love and hugs, Laura
