I've got a date!!

Hi Everyone, This is my first post although I've been hanging around reading for quite some time. My insurance is through Kaiser, so in order to receive approval for WLS I had to lose 10% of my body weight, keep food records for 6+ months, and be cleared through endocrinology, PC and mental health. I'm happy to say that after a year and a half of trying, I finally got to meet my surgeon yesterday. My date is January 20th!!!!! I will be having the surgery at Parma Hospital with Dr. Nowak. and Dr. Ayers(?). They kind of work as a team in the OR. I'm excited and anxious at the same time. I'm sure you've all been through the same sorts of feelings. Has anyone heard of anyone going through this program and if they were happy? Thanks! Leslie
