I put 3 pounds on during thanks giving. I am very dispointed. Do you diet all the time. Or do you eat what the family eats. I think maybe I need to start dieting again. I thought the small portions would do it. I do not over eat or eat heavy carbs or fried foods or sweats. Please give advise or anyone who can help. Thanks Barb

Hey Barb, The three lbs will drop back off. I gained a couple of lbs too but it went away fast. I eat mostly what my family eats unless its fried then i fix something different. I always make sure i get protein in first then a few bites of carbs if i have room vegetables before carbs. I go go go all day the weight is dropping off like crazy. Good luck. Ill bet the three lbs is gone already. Tammy O

Hiya Barb, Did you by chance eat ham? When I ate ham I gain a little through water retention. If you didnt I would not worry, it will not be the first or last time you go up and down a little. Good Luck! Richard

Richard I did eat the ham. It was a honey ham. I am one of those who can eat anything and not dump. I have lost the weight since then. I just need to becareful with holidays. I am down 52 pounds so I must be doing something right. I just grazed thanksgiving day. Not to mention I had a few bloody marys with the salt. I am sure it was fliuds. Happy Holidays Barb

52lbs is fabulous. It just goes to show that WLS patients gain during the holidays too, but BEFORE, it may be 10 lbs. 3lbs is easier to kick! Valerie
