All I want for Christmas............

Dear Tasha, I was wishing the same last Holiday season. I had received my second denial letter from my insurance and was at the end of my rope. After many letters from the Doc's and me to the insurace co... I thought I would never have WLS. I gave it to a Higher Power... on January 6th... I got a letter telling me the insurance co had reversed their decision!!! I had been approved!! Dr C got things rollin' and I was "reborn" on Feb 4th!!! Keep hope Alive!!! Happy Holidays ~Deb H

Thank you for your kinds words. I have been reading this message brd for over a year. I remember when you journey began. I truly believe if it is God*s Will it will happen for me. Just before I made that post I had heard the song "All I want for Christmas..." and it came to mind... I tossed my last coin into the wishing well... it is truly in God*s hands. Thanks Tasha

Dear Tasha, That was my Christmas wish last year as well. And I had such a feeling of doom knowing that my health was so fragile because of the obesity, I didnt know if I would live to have another Christmas with my family. Sooo I prayed my way through it and finally got my approval in the spring, and had the surgery in early summer. I have lost 140 pounds to date and truly feel alive again. Hi Laura, Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I have watched you blossom since your surgery on this board. I even saw you at the conference in August! This surgery has been such a blessing for so many people. These surgeons are truly doing God*s work. It warms my heart to watch each of the members transform into their new bodies. To watch their spirits blossom. Showing the world their beautiful souls. That was once hidden by pain, poor health, and low self esteem. God bless all of you, Sincerely, Tasha E

No one prays and wishes more for you then me that you get your Christmas wish! If I could take your sadness and extra weight from you, I would gladly do it.
