Congratulations to both of you! I am three weeks post-op, at home and recovering well. I was very calm and excited until right before surgery, then I fell apart. I wish I would embraced my fears of surgery a little earlier. It's major surgery so I imagine it's normal to be scared. I have been very fortunate so far -- even in the hospital. I've had no trouble with keeping any of the liquids down, although nothing sounds or tastes very good to me. Knock on wood, no complications so far. I'm feeling pretty well, relatively speaking, and have been very happy with my recovery. And I have lost 24 pounds. Any specific questions? Best of luck for a speedy recovery -- you will do great!
