Has anyone found a protien powder that they REALLY like? I must find one and so far the few I have tried are just gross. Too gritty. I am going out tonight to find a blender. Maybe that will help a little bit if I get it mixed up completely. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. =) Hugs Bobbi

Hi Bobbi, even though I'm not from Ohio I thought I would add my 2 cents in here. I am over 7 months post op and have just maybe for the past week been drinking my protein. I like Body Fortress Chocolate Whey Protein from Walmart. Its $12.97 for a huge tub of it. I was drinking it with milk and that taste good, but it added calories. So, what I do is this. I heat me a 8 oz glass of water. I pour that in a bowl, I add 1 teaspoon decaff coffee, 2-3 teaspoons of splenda, stir it up. Then I add a scoop of protein. Mix it all up and it disolves really well. U can't heat the protein, u can't put it in boiling water either but my nutritionist says adding it to coffee or sugar free hot cocoa is fine. It taste great in my coffee. I really love it. It has 110 cals, 4 carbs, 2 sugars? not sure on the sugars, but its not much. Good luck Angela 313/200/150?

Hi Bobbi Angela's protein coffee drink sounds great. I have found that I like the necter protein the best. I purchase it thru bariatriceating.com. It mixes with water and the flavors are tasty. I like the Fuzzy Navel and Roadside lemonade. Hope that helps. Deb

Bobbi, I too like Nectar. You can also buy it at the Vitamin Shoppe. Their policy is if you try it and don't like it they will let you trade. Good luck! Sue

I really like the zero carb isopure ready to drink bottles from gnc. They come in a variety of flavors and have 40 grams of protein! They are of thin consistency, like kool-aid. This has been a Great help for me. Connie

Connie, with regard to the bottles of Isopure, how much do they cost at GNC? I need protein and I've been looking for something of the consistency of Kool-Aid. I **gag** on protein shakes. I can't deal with them. 40G is awesome - I hope they're not too expensive. Can you list some flavors for me? Thanks in advance! Julie in Akron

I vote for the Isopure also! Picked up my supply today---Goofy Grape, Razzy-Raspberry, and Punch (couldn't think of a funny for this one!) My GNC gives me a 25% discount on a case and I bought three cases. It's really like Kool-ade and my favorite next to my Atkins canned shakes.

I like the Extreme Pro-Plex from GNC in chocolate. It can be mixed with milk or water and disolves easily. If you think it tastes too "proteiny", add 1/2 a package of sugar free CIB along with it. That ups the taste and the protein content.

What does CIB Mean Thanks Barb
