Humpty Dumpty..

Yesterday I was trying to clean up my front yard from all the debris that was leftover from Sundays big Wind storm here. A friend of mine is running for council and had a campaign sign in my front yard. It had gotten knocked over and I went to put the sturdy wooden sign back into the ground. I pushed and pushed and the sign broke off and all that was left was the wooden stake. I lost my balance and fell onto it and it hurt so bad. Then I continued to fall and ended up in my flower bed cutting open both knees on the concrete border surrounding them and then hit my chin and cut it open on the porch steps. Somehow my elbows and wrists all got cut and scraped too. I am so sore everywhere and couldnt even go and swim last night. I am a little worried about where I landed on the post more than anything. It was right on top of where Dr Mikami and put the scope in me. And I have a very big bruise there. I dont know if I could of injured anything inside, but it does hurt. But I hurt everywhere, just worse there. I was so embarrassed. The neighbor who saw me fall most likely thinks I was drinking a little bit midday to fall like that. Hey Humpty..............er Laura, I am glad you are laughin' about this cuz it could have been much worse if you had impaled yourself on that stake! If the bruise gets any bigger, I would suggest that you see a doctor. Or if the pain continues. Otherwise, I guess that's what we get for getting involved in politics......huh? Love ya! Suzie

I was thinking the very same thing last night. My son and I were watching something on tv about medical miracles and someone had impaled himself on a piece of wood and it narrowly missed all of his major inerds.. But it was a bad situation. I do have a pretty good bruise there, but dont seem to be having much pain with it today. You are right I got lucky.!!! BTW I am ready for summer again and another trip to Kings Island. And this time girly you are gonna be working to keep up with me. LOL I am going to shut this thing down, having some serious lightning and boomers. Big Hugs Laura
