my stomach just woke up

I haven't had any appetite at all -acctually I've been forcing myself to nibble and drink. About 1:00 today my stomach decided to wake up. Lots of noises and lots of hunger. Finally I can get in my protein, I was starting to worry. I feel so much better today and BTW down 10 lbs!! Josie

I felt hungery also. It is called head hunger.. You are going to go thru that for awhile. It was one of the hardest parts in my recovery.. I am three weeks out and finally I have learnt to deal with it.. Once you over come that you got it licked. I had to end up on depression meds to help with this. It was such a loss for me. Food was my everything for many years. Then it was gone. everyone is eating and cooking... It was really hard for me. You are doing great have you lost any weight since being home. Barb I've lost 10 lbs since I come home from the hospital, all together I've lost 20 lbs, Wahooo!!!

Denise, Some days I feel like I've been beat to death and others like I'm invinsible. But we sure have come a long way in a week!!! down 14 lbs lighter later Josie

Josie, You are riding the roller coaster of your life. Some days I am so up I feel like I am ready to bubble over, and other days I can barely manage a smile. But... Those days are few and far between and I have no regrets about having the surgery. Not a one!! You are gonna do great just keep looking back to see how far you have come already... Allow yourself to be proud of your accomplishments and build that self confidence up. Have more invinsible days Miss Josie.. But on the days you need us we are here for ya. Love and hugs Laura
