Anyone have Dr. Viglianco at Barix of Groveport
Hi,
I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. V on Oct. 25. He seems fantastic and comes well recommended. I have met a few others who have had surgery with him, and they all say only wonderful things. And the people I've met have certainly had enviable results.
What I appreciate about him is that he is very direct, answers your questions candidly and seems to be very honest about the risks and realities of the surgery -- all with a very calm, kind demeanor. His staff has been wonderful. I just had my pre-op testing day, so I've met several of the staff members. Every staffer I've encountered so far has been organized and responsive.
I expect to post about my results as soon as I'm healed enough to sit at the computer for a few minutes (sometime in early November).
Also, I encourage you to check out Dr. V's patient forum. Here's the link:

Hope this helps

Dr. Vig is my hero....I had Open RNY on June 23rd, 2005 and I will be forever grateful for having him in my life. He is one of the most genuine and honest people I've ever dealth with. He changed my life and I love him and his staff at Barix. I have been recommending Barix since June and will do so for the rest of my life.
I live in NE Ohio, so I have to drive three hours for my visits to him - and alter my work schedule to go back for my visits - but I do it, because Barix (and Dr. Vig!!) is the best.
