Worthington area anybody?

i am going to be driving down that way end of october for a 2 day training for work and will need a motel- with my AARP card i can get into the econo lodge reasonably cheaply-but do i WANT to stay there? i feel the need to have some reservation made soon! also-is there a mall around there? i figure a cheap supper and some walking could occur if there is- as well as maybe some early christmas browsing.... i love to drive but do not want to be venturing far!!!!! any suggestions appreciated!

There is a nice Holiday Inn in that area I believe near a movie theatre, restaurant and a mall. Good Luck!

Where in Worthington is your training??? and, what dates??? I'll be in Worthington for a conference on the 18th thru the 20th of October!!! If our times overlap, perhaps we could walk the Mall together. At any rate, Worthington is pretty large. It has alot to offer. Not too very far from Worthington is Polaris Shopping Mall.... it is a large shopping area and has just about anything you could possibly want (I know, I was just there last night as my job had me going to Columbus yesterday for a meeting!). thx for the offer of a walking buddy but i won't get there til i think oct 25th or 26th. i work for sky bank so it will be at the financial center in worthington-i called there today and gabbed with a teller-she made some suggestions as well- and a fellow employee took his training there in the spring so he gave me some pointers... it's funny- i got stuck in dallas one nite last october (coming home from Obesity help conference)-nasty rainy weather grounded our flight-no luggage no food no change of clothes - a wonderful hotel room- i watched some tv and crashed! so this time i am planning !!!!!
