All went well. Nurses and doctores and staff were great. Minus one nurse. I will write about here later. Nurse from hell. I am feeling fairlly well. it was the most painful surgery I have ever had. I thought I was dieing. I got so sick the first time I did have a bm. I was sweating and sick to my stomach. And passed so much gas Take care Thaniks for all your well wishes. I am still very tired Barb

You will feel better soon. The first 3 weeks are the hardest. I am glad you are home and doing well. Just hang in there it gets much better. Especially when those pounds just fall off. Hugs Julie

Miss Barb, So good to hear from you.. And consider it a blessing you are alive and well enough to be miserable.. Hmmm Did that come out right?? What I meant is you are going through all the normal early preop things and you are ALIVE and Kicking, and for that I am so Thankful.. You had your share of health risks and I was a little worried. Please believe Julie, it does get a little better each and every day. And in no time you are gonna get all that gas out of you and feel like moving more. I am so so so so proud of you for making this journey and joining us on the losing side. Its gonna be an awesome ride, so buckle up, hold your hands up in the air and say WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Thank you God for bringing our girl through this safely, now help her to heal well and begin using this tool to melt the weight off her body. Show her every day how much better her life is going to be. Be with her through the good times and those tough days as well. And just let her know we are always here for her. Big Hugs, Miss Laura

Laura, Thanks for your nice words.. It was alot worse than I imagined. I had no ideal. and about the gas and the diarria. and how bad it would hurt. I am doing better each day. I just dont know how much I should be eating. I am on the pudding cream of wheat soups popsickles, I dont know how nuch I need to each each meal. I havce been eating 2 tablespoons. Is that about right. My stomach was glued together. I had no tubes in me. I think I have lost 20 pounds. That iss what the scale said., I had no ideal I would go thru all of that. It gets better each day. It was a nightmare. I will tell you alittle something about the nurse from hell. She tryed to force me to drink a full cup of apple juice with medicene in it. I refused. She was trying to kill me. LOL. I started to ge****er in my lungs and the doctors and nurses took care of that real quick. I did get low potastsim and had to drink those nasty drinks. And sent them home with me. I goyt no sleep at the hospital. It is so nice to be home. The doctors said I did great. Take Care Barb
