Meeting locator???
O.K., call me "stupid", but I can not figure out how/where to find listings of support group meetings (other than for going to the Chapters page, which only lists official OH Chapters). Any ideas??? There are several that I'd like to attend, but don't know how to find them.... i.e. I know that Chillicothe has a support group, but don't know when/where it meets! Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks bunches,
Karen

Hi Karen,
You have come to the right place, just do a shout out and most of us that run support groups will come right to your aid. The Chillicothe support group is held on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. We meet at the Adena Hospital right on US 23 on the North side of Chillicothe. We are changing rooms this month and we will be in the Adena Room which is right next to the room we usually meet in just inside the emergency room entrance. Anyone is welcome and "The Dumpling Gang" really has a great group and we are hoping to have a wonderful Christmas party this year too.
We would love to have you come visit even if you cant make it every time.
Bo
Thanks for your quick response! I would love to attend one of your meetings, and will put it on my calendar for this next month. We've had an informal meeting going here in Hillsboro for awhile, but are just now trying to get more organized with it. There are 2 of us who have just gone through OH's 3-session Chapter Leader training program and our group seems to be excited about falling under OH's umbrella. Since I am new to this, I'd love to see how other groups run their meetings, plus, I feel that the more people you meet and the more experiences that you have just make for a better, more well rounded person. I want to be able to help others, which will keep me focused on where I need to be to be successful, too!!!
Thanks again,
Karen
I don't know about Chillicothe, but I was wondering the exact same thing about anyone that meets in a support group for the Delaware area. I would be interested in attending if I could get the details.
Thanks for asking...it wasn't a stupid question at all....I'll be eagerly awaiting an answer
Sandy

Thanks!!! You might want to add a separate post that asks about Delaware area support group meetings in the subject line.... that way, it might catch someone's attention from that area.
Good luck to you in finding a good group to attend... I really feel that it is key to being successful in this process.
Take care,
Karen
