Wish Center???

Im from Michigan, no one around here seems to know much about the Wish Center for WLS, has anyone heard of them? What was your experience if so?

I had surgery through the Wish Center in November and have now lost 102 pounds. I was very pleased with their program and the surgeon, Dr. Kira Schofield is wonderful. I checked into the Wish Center and their costs after surgey were very expensive. They require you to be a member of some program of after care and it is around 1200. I think. I had a co-worker go there and after her experience I am glad that I did not go but everyone is different. Just make sure that you research ALL of the costs so you know what is going to cost you in the end. The after program is not something that insurances usually cover. There is an awfully good Dr at the Deaconess Hospital in Cinci, check them out and you may even want to check into the OSU program if you are researching. Where in MI are you? My daughter had her surgery in Grand Rapids by a very good reputable Dr I could get his name if you are interested. She has done wonderful, she is down to a size 8 from a 22 in 17 mo. Shelia
