PRE OP DIET

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE BASIC PRE OP DIET EX. PROTEIN SHAKES SOUP BROTH. WHAT AND HOW MUCH. WOLD LIKE TO GET JUMP START TO SEE IF I CAN RELLY DO THIS.

for 2 weeks prior to surgery I did optifast its a liquid diet purchased at my doctors office.I'm really glad I did it even though it was hard for me to stay on track. I think it helped make bowel prep easier and the whole surgical procedure more smoothe. for one whole day before surgery I was only on clears. I did loose 16 lbs in those 2 weeks before surgery my Doctor was very happy about that! good luck!

Hmmm, couldn't tell you. My Doc doesn't have his patients do that. Interesting.... tonya
