Hi all!

I was just wondering if someone could answer a dumb question for me. I know i should know this but I have heard so many different theorys and I forgot what I was told when I first had my surgery but what is the reason for not eating and drinking at the same time? I dont do it I know its a no-no but I wanted to hear why again? Thanks Love Amybee

Hello Amy! Well, I haven't had surgery yet but I did just finish my nutrition classes and were told not to eat and drink at the same time because your stomach will swell from the liquids and you'll fill full; therefore, not getting your protein first. Josie

Thanks for the reply! I was wondering too about eating soup with meat in it. Is that the same as eating and drinking at the same time?? Love Amybee
