Dr. Curry's lapband patients........Where are you all???

I am a new person to the boards but will be banded on 9/23/05 by Dr. Curry at Deaconess. I notice hardly anyone goes to the Deaconess official message board for WLS. I'm.....I'm rather lonely there. Hi Donna! Welcome! Glad to see another lap-bander around!! I usually check out the boards, but I am working 1 1/4 jobs and I just started back to school - so free time has gone by the wayside. I was going to invite you to our bandster lunch on 9/25, but something tells me you won't want to come! You'll be in a much better place by then!! Congratulations Donna, I'm glad to see another bandster on here. You're going to love your new life. I know that I do. I also try to check Dr. Curry's board, but must have missed this week. I have so many forums that I follow that I can't keep up. You must meet us for one of our meetings. It helps to talk out things that just pertain to bandsters. Cathy P

Thanks for calling out the bandsters... I am so glad this board doesn*t chase off band patients. On the main board they always chase them off to the Lap band forum. I am interested in all types of WLS so I find it helpful not to have to look so far. And the Lap band is becoming more and more popular... (thanks to Dr C). Hi, thanks for the feedback. I was directed here from the main board but it was very kind of them to do so as I didn't know there was a board for exclusively bandsters. The main board folks didn't want me to sit and have to wait for another bandster to respond as it was not primarily a bandster board. Did I say bandster enough??? LOL Anyway, I like to think I was kindly redirected and I am sure that is what they meant for you as well.
