My first real WOW moment!!!

Well I started this journey in a tight 22, loose 24 in about March of this year. Today I went shopping for a pair of dress pants. I actually bought a pair of comfortable size 16 dress pants in the regular section (NOT PLUS!!!) and an XL shirt!!!! I can't even begin to remember when I ever shopped last in the regular size section!!! I am so excited I could SCREAM!!! Dawn

You go girl!!!! I am in a 16 now too. However, I guess out of habit I still head straight for the plus size section. I have not been to lane bryant since surgery. I kind of miss the store, but that is one thing I can live without. Keep up the good work. Hugs, Lisa

I agree with you. It is so much harder to shop now lol. I used to go in Lane Bryant and get my underware,clothes, jammies all in the same store. Now I feel like a numbnut because I dont know how to shop like the skinny people do . I go to J.Jills. Chicos, Macys and I feel so lost. Anyone else feel this way???

Your poor wife! It is rare that the man takes up the whole closet Richard! lol! To buy or not to buy is the question for me though. It's hard not to buy cause I'm feeling great about the loss so far and who wants to wear baggy old fat clothes???? But then again do I want to break the bank by going on a shoppin spree each month? I think once I get out of Plus size, I am going to try my hand at the thrift stores and consignment shops....at least until I am at goal. Wow...my first post and I already give the impression that I am a cheapo! Sandy
