Protein HELP
Pam, try adding light yogurt to the protein drink and maybe some fresh fruit, that may change the taste. The other thing you might try is Carnation instant breakfast sugar free, You just mix a packet with milk, if you tolerate milk and it makes a fairly high protein drink. If you really like pudding and you can tolerate milk, make what is called double strength milk, by adding powdered milk (I think 1/3-1/2 cup) to a quart of skim milk, mix that well and keep in the refrigerator and use it to make your sugar free pudding or cream soup. That will make anything you use it for higher in protein. Good luck. Chris
I am so sorry you are feeling so badly. It will pass though. Hmmmm, protien was so hard. I went to Bariatriceating, susan Marias site, and she sells this drink called a smoothy and you dont have to add anything. I liked the strawberry and chocolate. They are really good. They are 35 grams of protien. I had one right when I woke up and one before I went to bed. I hated the other flavors but I liked those two. I liked not adding anything and just taking them out of the fridge .Good luck. Cindy
Unjury in vanilla and chocolate are fabulous. The unflavored seems to have a taste, but not the flavored ones. I take a scoop of chocolate powder, mix it with chocolate Carb Countdown milk, add in some LF Vanilla pudding and sometimes even a Carnation Instant Breakfast. It is SOOO good and has 35+ grams of protein. You can add in peanut butter too. YUMM.
