New picture coming soon
Thanks to Vicki finding a Happy Smiling Picture of me and sizing it for me a new and improved picture should be popping up soon. I know its first come first served. But hopefully they will look at this sad old picture and get it done as soon as possible.
I havent said anything about it because I thought that I wasnt going to allow myself to be sad about it. But my boyfriend of 3 years dumped me earlier this week. He had to go to a conference out of state last week and told me he got drunk and ended up sleeping with someone. I have a zero tolerance policy after what my ex did with me, and he knew it. So he went ahead and broke things off. I feel so sad and hurt. I would of bet my life that he was one of the "GOOD ONES" who could be faithful. But I was wrong. I still believe in True love and that there is a good man out there waiting for me. God has big plans and maybe he knew it was time for me to move on. One of my friends suggested that he might of been threatened by my weight loss and being attractive to other men now. Who knows.. I cant figure men out..!!!!

Thanks for the support and love !!! Its kind of strange last weekend a bluegrass band played at my church. They were so incredible and so good, I went to another church they were playing at that evening and saw them again. I took my daughter and her friend reluctently, but they ended up enjoying themselves. I admit I was a little attracted to one of the band members and in the back of my mind thought " What a great guy, and so tall and handsome, and talented and adorable" Afterwards they had a church carry in supper and we stayed for it. He came over and sat at our table and he had changed into shorts and what appeared to be workout clothes. We got talking about exercise and I told him about my surgery and weight loss and how addicted I am to swimming and working out. Well, I left there and I thought that was it. What a nice guy but I am seeing someone and he had be as well, he was so cute. Well to make a short story long, He called me this afternoon and we talked and talked and are going to have a little date on Tuesday. Do you think its possible that God sent this person into my life so soon after getting dumped???
So who knows what will happen.. I just know I am feeling awfully giddy and about 18 years old right now. And it feels great..

I am sorry to hear about your break-up. I would look at it this way... God as more instore for you .. just like you said.
You are a beautiful person and deserve a good man who will be there for you in many ways. There is someone out there for you.. just believe.

Ya know, I seem to remember you telling me that this guy wasn't the one when we were at Kings Island. I think you told me you didn't see yourself married to this guy. Well, why waste your time (3 years worth) if it wasn't going to come to fruition anyway.

Hi Laura,
I am sorry to hear about your break up. We are sort of in the same boat. But I think do to my new self confidence, my break up has not been that hard. I love my new body. I love myself again, and that in itself is priceless. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Date and have fun. I love it when guys actually check me out. That has not happened in a long time!! God does have plans for us. I will pray that in his time that he will send a life long partner to you. But, until that time love yourself and enjoy life. I too was surprised when I met a wonderful man so soon after my breakup. I think God knows what all I have been through and decided that it was time for me to have a good man that cared about me.
