Dose JP removal hurt?

Well tomorrow I have my JP tube removed. How much pain are we talking? Rocquetta

Rocquetta well i may be pre op but i speak from expirence i had one with both c sections and i dont remember either hurting much and i had another one for a cyst surgery and it hurt a bit but more of a stingy burn and it only lasted a few seconds Hope this helps also glad to hear your feeling so well !!! well most people may tell you it hurts. mine felt like the doc was pulling a very long snake out!!!! it was uncomfortable but tolerable. hope this helped. jennifer

I just used some deep breathing relaxation exercises and it was over with quickly. I have a place I call my Happy Place that I visualize being at. On a beautiful beach with clear blue water sitting in a chair in about a foot of water.. A scantily clad cabana boy bringing me Crystal light lemonade with little umbrella's in it.... The warm water gently massaging my tone, tanned body.... Oppps.. Getting carried away.. But you get the idea.. Just find something happy to think about keep breathing and it will be over in a jiffy.
