First day back to work! :)

Sunday was my first day back to work after an absence of over 11 weeks due to a surgery that was unrelated to my bypass. My family kept telling me how different I looked but it still seemed like the same old me. Wow, was I surprised at the shocked looks on people when they realized who I was! People that I have known for years didn't know me! There were laughs and hugs and I was on cloud nine. One of the women that I have worked with for years kept saying that she couldn't believe that I was smaller then her. Happy Me! When I was leaving work a man came up to me and said get out of the car, I need a second look! I happy danced in the car all the way home. What a blessing this surgery has been to my life. I guess there's a reason for that old saying...50 and fabulous! I don't know who was more excited, me, my sister or my niece!!

Cathy, That is great! I am so happy for you. You do look wonderful! I am still amazed at the difference in you from Dr. Curry's reunion! You have really done fantastic. I hope I can do as well. I am working on it...lol I see your niece has her picture up now, you can really tell you two are related! And, I saw her with you at the conference, but I didn't realized it was your niece. I was thinking neice, ....little girl...duh. I should have come up and introduced myself. I will let you know when I am coming to Cinci for my next check up with Dr. Curry, we will all do lunch! Keep up the great work, and I am so glad that you are all well now. You keep on doing the happy dance , you deserve it! Mary

Thanks so much Mary! I know what you mean about the niece thing. Hard for me to realize sometimes that she is a grown woman with 2 kids of her own. I'm happy that she posted her pretty self on her profile! We'll definitely do lunch! And you are doing great yourself. I thought that you looked beautiful when I saw you at the conference. Cathy
