I feel great!!!

I can't believe after just one week that I FEEL GREAT!!!! Now don't get me wrong, I still have some discomfort at the drain sight, gas is horrendous, still not sure if I am hungry or it is just head hunger , and still very much out of breath but for major surgery , WOW !!! I couldn't ask for anything better. God has truly blessed me with you guys and my family. I am so glad that I did this. Rocquetta

Vickie, Yup the drain comes out tomorrow. 10:30 WOO HOO!!!! I actually walked around Wal-Mart yesterday for about an hour. Forgot my water bottle in the car so had hubby buy me some so I could make it through the store. Well I need to eat breakfast.....cream of wheat with protein powder. Rocquetta, I am so proud of you and can tell you are gonna be a great success at this new way of living. I think you are kind of like me, we were so miserable and felt so horrible being so heavy. That we will do anything necessary to make this new tool work for us. I will share with you my biggest not so secret of sucess.. Its the swimming. I cant tell you how much that has helped me tone my body and relax me as well. It is time for me and me alone. I can choose to chat with other swimmers or I can put my headphone radio on and let my mind wander. My PCP is so impressed with my loss of body fat to muscle he keeps telling me that i might be jeopardizing my post op plastic surgery approvals. But if i can do it ( and my 44 year old body) will co- operate that would just be fine with me. I swim at our local Amerihost and they offer a very reasonable monthly pass and use of the whirlpool and workout room. Its been the best thing I have ever done for myself. Laura, I am also going to join the gym my husband goes to as soon as I get doctor approval. They have a swimming pool and nice work out facility. And I only have to pay like 15 a month because of him being my husband. And yes anything to make this work is right. Hopefully tomorrow he will let me know. Rocquetta
