Need help appealing for the tummy tuck

Hello everybody...the conference in Cincy was great....looking forward to meeting more of you personally....I have been denied for the tummy tuck and the surgery for the arms...have any of you appealed for those and been successful? If so....e-mail me at [email protected] need info to put in the letter...or how to word it...my doctor's office said they would help but didn't seem too thrilled...I have United Healthcare...I would like to see some of your before pictures...especially those of you who have lost over 200 pounds...I saw some of you there....how about this "Glen"? Did your doctor write you a letter stating the medical reasons why you need this? My OB/GYN sent a letter to UHC on my behalf stating those reasons and I have pre-approval when I get the nerve up to do it. I don't think that you can get them to pay for the arms though. They class that as cosmetic and not medically necessary. I believe Glen's last name is Blind.
