I just wanted to stop by and say thanks to the whole crew at ObesityHelp (espacially Brenda & Monica) for hosting such a wonderful event. I really enjoyed myself and learned quite a bit from the speakers and attendees as well. It is great to have such a strong and effective support system in place and it scares me to see the many people out there that just don't have a good support from the medical community. Dr. Stickler, I didn't get a chance to talk to you, but my husband and I really enjoyed your talk. We both powerlift, and weight train and have always followed a great deal of what you talked about. I think my husband would have really enjoyed the opportunity to speak with you! Thanks for a great presentation. Dr. Stickler Thanks so much for the kind words and for driving 4 hours to do this talk..I heard wonderful things about your talk unfortunately I didn't get to hear any of the speakers..I am bummed about that. I did get scorned by someone who said it was rediculous that I didn't let you have time for Q and A..so I deeply apologize. We need you to make another trip down here so we can have you for an evening..hmmm? IT was great meeting you finally after months of emails going back and forth.. Thanks again for everything!.. Dr Stickler, I wanted to add my thanks for joining us at the conference. Your presentation was exactly what I needed to get me back on track. You gave me hope. Your session was well worth the long trip. I now have some things to adjust, that I didn't know about before. I also congratulate you on expanding your practice to include lifetime bariactric patients. There are too many slice 'em, dice 'em, and get 'em out the door surgeons, and PCP's don't always get it. It took me 4 years to find a doctor I don't have to re-educate on WLS and resulting issues with every visit. Yours is a natural extension of this, and I am sure your patients are greatful. Thank you again Dr. And again thanks to all the people who made the conference great. Gayle
