I know this is silly but I have to ask......
Hi Felicia!!
Relax! Now breathe.
I have never thrown up. Sure, I've had some froth and some food slide it's way back up, but no all out vomitting. You may not even have that! Just remember, you have a lot of control over that. If I hadn't taken 1 more bite those few times, nothing would have come back at all. Hope this helps.

Amy I really wish I could come however I will miss out you see I just recently purchased my 1st home in May and Im having a house warming party on Saturday to celebrate now I had orginally planned on having my Party on August 27th however I got my surgery date for the 24th so I had to make different plans because I would not let anything interfer with my date. Even though I won't be there physically I will be in spirit and lets hope that the conference is such a success that we can look forward to having it again in Cincinnati. Thanks again Amy and Sharyn for the responses I feel much better now.
Felicia,
I know exactly what you mean. I too had a horrible phobia about throwing up. I was scared to death of it....but I have thrown up since the surgery, and it is different than when I was sick with a stomach probllem.
The feeling of it before hand is different too. Nausea did not play a role in my episodes...it was more like pain because I had either eaten too fast, or not chewed enough. You feel immediate relief from the pain when you do throw up. it's not fun, but also not scarey.

Don't worry about it, you might not have it at all or very infrequent. It is all related to how much you eat. Like Felicia said, one bite too much and that' s what does it. It actually isn't like being sick though I don't think. Its a relief compared to the discomfort from eating a little too much. Don't let it stop you from having surgery. Chris
