Bob Evans Kid's Meals
My sister and I went to Bob Evans for dinner last night and I was pleasantly surprised when they allowed me to order off of the children's menu. I had a turkey dinner and the portion was huge! I had enough leftovers to bring home for lunch today. The server was more then gracious when I asked if I could order from the children's menu and laughed when I commented on how much food there was. The Bob Evans that we went to was in Florence, Kentucky. I don't know if all of the Bob Evans will allow you to do this but it sure was nice to only pay $2.69 for my meal instead of $10.00! Another nice find was that the Outback will also allow you to order off of the kid's menu. They will allow you to order it curbside also. I had ribs the other day and ate off of them for 3 days. Huge amounts of food at both places! As you can tell, I don't cook at home often!
Just wanted to share this information with those of you who worry about wasting food and money!

Hi Cathy,
Another place I like to order the kids menu from is Boston Market. They have always let me order a kids meal. It is $2.49. Of course, I can never fini**** I usually order something my DH likes and he finishes up my meal. The meatloaf always goes down well for me. I had a hard time with the turkey and chicken when I was a newbie. The other thing I like about Boston Market is that you can order good food for your sides. Have a good day.

I used to live right by the Bob Evans in Athens, and I would order the kid's meal all the time...to go. I would go inside and order it, and I would refer to "my kid" when doing so, like "ummm...she wants the carrots instead of the potatoes"....what kid wants the carrots instead of potatoes???? Never had a problem. When I eat in places, I just get the regular and take the leftovers home.
