Gas
Jeez Cindy-that is almost mean! (KIDDING). I get horrible gas pains, thankfully it usually doesn't come out too awfully odiferous. Mine always hurts on my left side, a little beneath my ribs. Sometimes it is bad enough that I just lay there and moan-waiting for it to move on. When I first had it, I thought for sure something was horribly wrong...my WLS had gone so smoothly and I was feelin fine then, whammo! Luckily I don't always get gas, but I have not pinpointed what exactly causes me to get it or not. I guess that just takes time!
Take care!

Hi Cindy,
Before surgery I never had problems with gas. I would get gas, pass it and be better. I am 11 days post-op and still dealing with the surgery gas. OMG .. it is terrible!! I feel like a balloon!! Put some helium in me and I might just float away.
I am curious how long it takes for this bloated feeling to go away.
