Guess what? I just found out through my sister Patty, that an old friend I played with when I was young is having surgery tomorrow with Dr.C. I found his number and he is so excited. Will everyone say a prayer for John tonight . Thank you all, Love Cindy

Cindy, I will keep John and his family in my prayers tomorrow. Getting a call from you had to be an answer to his prayer that he now has someone to help him thru his weightloss journey. The best part too is it brought together old friends. Be sure to let us know how John does tomorrow. Vicki

Cindy, Congrats to your friend, and best wishes to him as well. He is in good hands for sure! If he is not a member on this site, you will have to show it to him when he gets home. I don't know how I would have made it on this journey without all the support of my newfound friends who understand! John is lucky to have you close by and as a friend. He will be in my thoughts... Cindy, I always get on here first thing in the morning and see all the postings...and wonder...how many of us would still be laying around in bed this early had we NOT had the surgery? I have always been a morning person and always get up at 5:30 to fix breakfast and pack my husbands lunch. But I didn't used to do it with this much energy! I am amazed at how early everyone is on...even on the weekends! This surgery is such a blessing! I think John is going to love being a loser, I know I do! Good luck on going back on the wagon today, are you going to diet or just audit your foods to see what you are getting in a days time? I am a slow loser and I am always trying to kick it up a notch, either with protein or exercise! I am really looking forward to this upcoming event, Friday and Saturday. I don't know for sure if we are going to Kings Island or not. I DO NOT do rides...not afraid, just get deathly sick...ewww My husband is coming with me, so it won't be like I have to hang out in the hotel room alone or anything...I am sure there will be plenty to do. Best wishes again to John! Mary Lap RNY Dr. Curry 03-04-05 261-187-153

I will certainly keep him in my prayers... My mom has even started saying a general prayer for all of us to keep us safe, happy and healthy. I dont know about you, but I dont just say prayers at night. I say them all day long as I think of people and events that need prayers. Sitting at a traffic light, sitting in the car waiting to pick up my daughter. I find those extra minutes are great for a little conversation with God.. I am sure John is gonna come through this just fine and become a big loser real fast. What a wonderful thing this surgery is. I cannot imagine my life without it now. Love ya Cindy, Laura

Cindy, I will keep John and his family in my prayers as well. I am just starting my journey to the losing side. I am excited just in the begining, I can only imagine how excited John and his family is. Please let John and his family know that everyone here is keeping him in our prayers and Dr C. as he performs the surgery. Julie K. Waiting for 1st consult
