Bad Dream

Yes, I know it's early, but I just had a bad dream. Usualy I don't even remember dreaming, but this one was sooo real. I was eating pizza, crust and all, and I couldn't stop. I was just stuffing myself and kept telling myself to stop, but I couldn't. Then I started thinking, hey why aren't I getting full? What happened to my surgery? Why aren't I getting sick? It was horrible. Then I finally realized I was dreaming. I don't know why I had this dream. I know Dr C did a great job. I think I just don't trust me. Oh well, I'm going to try to go back to sleep. Maybe I can dream about Taye Diggs this time. Sharyn 307/273/148

This is my awake time Sharyn. Good morning and its still dark. Did my routine.fed the dog, turned off the alarm, weighed myself, let the dog out andgot the paper. My morning every morning. M DH is leaving on a flyfishing trip to Montana for a week. Could he be any more excited? I think I am going to go somewhere too. Maybe Las Vegas or Mall of America. That sounds great. Oh well, Have a great day, Love, Cindy

So Sharyn, Was the Pizza any good? As long as it wasn't real, you should have enjoyed it too, good crust and sauce, italian sausage, peperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms, maybe some tomato chunks too, and of course topped with a load of cheese..... mmmmmmmm I still eat pizza some, but I like the toppings the most, so I forget the crust so that I can eat more pieces of toppings, and of course a few lol, kevin

Oh Kevin - That pizza was so good. I thought for sure it was real. It was in large pie slices, like the ones in NY, where you have to fold it in half. I love toppings, but I only remember cheese. But it was oozing with sauce and it was very cheesy and hot. Sharyn

So Sharyn...if you happen to go back to that food dream....could you have a few chocolate covered marshmallows for me?

I will try, but marshmallows really aren't my thing. When I think of chocolate, I think of warm brownies with vanilla ice cream on top, or warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream or milk, or a Reese's peanut buter egg that is warm and just beginning to melt, or.....ok, I'm done!

All I can say is "THANK GOD I DUMP!!" LOL I am nauseated thinking of all that chocolate and sugar. ahhhh the old days when I could eat it .. At Donatoes they have a crustless pizza. I havn't done it for awhile but man it's good. you get tons of cheese a little sauce and any topping. it;s sooooo good! since the only thing I count are carbs - it works for me..

Hi Brenda I have no idea if I dum*****t. I either don't or have been too afraid to try. I wish there was an easy way to tell. Any ideas? Or, is not knowing better than knowing that I don't? Either way, the pizza sonds good. I live 2 minutes from the 1st Donatos but have never tried the crustless. I'll have to try it. Sharyn

Sharyn, Dr. Curry's office will give you some of those cards. Just call Erin in the morning and she will mail you one. I am now 5 months out and have never dumped. I stay away from sugars and high sugar alchohols and high fats. Either I am not going to be a dumper or I just haven't yet. I would rather NOT know. I want to believe that I will, it helps to keep me strong and away from the wrong foods. I think that you were at Dr. Curry's office the day I was there for my 3 month checkup. You had your son with you and you were saying that he is addicted to reading...lol He was reading that day as well. Also, I have tried the Donatos crustless pizza since surgery and didn't have a problem with it. But now, I just have regular pizza and peel the toppings off the crust. I can eat a couple of squares of toppings ( no sausage ) without a problem. I always use a paper towel and pat off the excess fat also. Everyone is different, you will find what works for you...good luck Mary
