Wish Center?

Hi everyone. This is the first time I have posted and just wanted to tell everyone that I LOVE this board. so I have a question. Has any one ever gone to the Wish Center in Middletown? I would much rather go to Dr. Curry, but I am self pay and they have a financing program. So any info about Dr.Rosen or Dr. Schofield would be greatly helpful.

Did you call Dr.Curry if they can finance. I really dont know but he is a doll.

Judy, Out best financing options are for the lap band, which is also a little cheaper than bypass for self-pay patients and also has a much lower risk of potentially expensive complications. We do have something in place for bypass financing, but it probably isn't the greatest. Wherever you go, just research their financing piece thoroughly, there can be lots of hidden costs in some programs if you aren't careful. For example with the band you may get a cheap initial price but then have to pay through the nose for all of your fills, whereas other programs (such as ours) include everything in the package price. Just because other surgeons do not use this board as a free marketing tool doesn't mean there aren't other surgeons in the area that are just as good or better.

yes, just as good, but not better Dr. C get's plenty of business, he really doesn't need a free marketing tool as you called his post. Do you see any other Dr on this board? Or one that does bother to answer his patience in this atmosphere? Dr. C truly cares about his patients and whats going on in our day to day lives, our trials and triumphs, that's why he posts on our Ohio board. Also he gives great advice when it is needed, even to people who are NOT his patients. Have a great day!

How dare you. I am boiling mad and I dont get mad easily. Dr. C has been nothing but wonderful answering everyones questions with his very busy schedule. Noone has ever said he is better than anyone else, we all had him and KNOW how great he is. Why would you say anything when you know nothing,

Dr. Curry doesn't need to use this site as a "free marketing tool". Word of mouth out of those who have been seen and had him do our surgeries will keep him busy for years to come. I'm extremely pleased that he comes to this board and answers questions and helps those who need him. Dr. Curry rocks!

I can't believe that anyone would could think that Dr. Curry would use this board as a marketing tool. Dr. Curry cares about the health of everyone, his patients and others as well. Dr. Curry doesn't need anyone to come to his defense, his actions speak louder than words. I am sure that he gets more business due to this board, but it is not due to "marketing tools", it is due to the success of his patients!!! When I am researching for a new product, or surgery, I listen to what people say, what works, what is a great product, who is the best in the field and that is what I go with. When it works, it is what I recomend to anyone and everyone that will listen.
