What is an angel??

I have no idea what an is or does, can someone tell me Please?...Do I need one?...Pam

An angel is sort of a WLS coach. This person volunteers to update on the board to let us all know how everything went with your surgery and sometime they come see you at the hospital or do other things. I recommend having an angel that lives nearby if you can. It is a great way to help motivate eachother.

So..since I know what one is how do I get one?...I have so many questions......Thanks..Pam

You can ask here on this board or on the main message board. Also, you can look on your surgery support page and I think there is a link there to request an angel. Make sure you try to get someone from your area so that you get good support. Having a friend that went through the surgery and lived near me has really made all the difference. I had a great angel too (Margo luv ya margo!!!), but she lives far away and I have never gotten to meet her in person. Someday I am just gonna hop in my car and go see her. She has been such a light for me. I hope you find someone special. BTW I am always happy to answer questions if I am able to. Hugs, Jaimee
