If you're certain this surgery is what you want/need, then put it all in the hands of your trusted surgeon. Worrying is only going to make the process harder. I had so much trust in my surgeon, that I didn't worry the morning of (or day before) surgery. My surgeon is my hero, he's my friend for life. I love him very much for all he's done for me. Cindy, Good luck on your surgery tomorrow! Suprisingly enough, I was calm as a cucumber the day before and even right up to my surgery. I decided worrying wouldn't make any difference on the outcome. Like another person posted earlier, you have to just put it in your surgeon's hands and know what is best for you. Even when things weren't going perfectly for me, I have never regretted my decision. I am just about 6 months out and happier than ever. Everything will be fine. Even if you don't get to sleep much tonite, you will have plenty of rest tomorrow. Oh, and try to have a moment of quiet time before you go in (I spent about 15 minutes in my car listening to my favorite CD just before I went into the hospital--really seemed to help me focus)...things go pretty fast once you get started. See you on the losing side!!! Caren

YOu'll do great! By the way, you aren't crazy for taking pictures for memories. You will need those for motivation. I even got a few shots with my surgeon the day of my surgery. They are on my profile.
