If Dayton wasn't so darned far away I would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I feel like if I agreed to be her angel I would really disappoint her. I hope someone in the Dayton area will step up to the plate and pay it forward. If not, Dawn, you are always welcome to e-mail me and I will try to help you as much as I can.

I am glad somebody nearby will be Dawn's angel. We all need good support after surgery. She is still welcome to e-mail me. You all know me, I love making new friends and am very happy to get e-mail.

I live in Columbus, which is probably about an hour away. But I emailed Dawn--if she doesn't have anyone closer, I'll certainly do my best.

Ok I emailed Dawn as i have no angel myself I know what shes going through. I volunteered to be hers my surg is the month before hers so i should be well on the mend. Everyone take care. Tammy O in Dayton

I also did not have an angel for my surgery in May...I didn't even know there were such things. But wonderful Richard Wilson came and visited me in the hospital...it was the first time I met him. Before my surgery I had read people referring to an "angel", but I didn't know what they were talking about and I am still not 100% clear what they are supposed to do. Is there some place that explains the whols process? May be there should be some sort of directions given to people when they first start posting so they can learn all the specific ins and outs of this organization. There are SO many good things here, I don't want any of us to miss out on anything!! There have also been several abbreviated terms used of which I have no clue.... Liz Hillsboro
