Dr Stellato Surgeon Visit;;;

Just got home from my consult with Dr Stellato..I loved him, I was so comfortable with him and I'd have to say I was nervous for nothing. It went great...Now is the hardest past....Waiting for Medicaid to review the case..It says Medicaid takes 6 to 12 months to reply...I am really up right now...I know that will fade a few months down the road from waiting but for now I will soak up this feeling...

University Hospitals..It's hard not to think about it..I should try to get it out of my head since I won't hear anything for so long..But it's the first thought on my mind each day as I suffer to pull myself out of bed. How are you doing? I worked in Mentor til 3 years ago

Debbie, You will love the entire staff there! I had my surgery with Dr. Jasper on 6/1. They always have 2 surgeons for your surgery. I can't say enough good about the whole program! Good luck with your journey! Maybe I will see you at a support group meeting! Sue

I felt comfortable from the first minute I went in. No rude nurses and everyone talked to me not at me. It was great..I was so tired of doctors ragging on me about weight it was nice to see a doctor that understood! I can't wait to go to a meeting. My daughter drives me everywhere and she works on Monday nights or I would be there every month!!! I will find a way to get there maybe Septembers! Look for me

Debbie, I too am going to university for mine. I seen Dr. hallowell on 7/18/05. the support groups pre = op are great just remember to sit close to the front i didnt and couldnt really see since some tall person sat in front of me but i too have to wait the waiting game since i have to have alot of paperwork sent there so they can send them to the insurance. good luck to u though, and i hope to be there for the september group also rich

It's exciting and frustrating at the same time! I am so excited that I am on my way, so frustrated that it is going to take so long and so scared that after all this I may still be denied... Look for me in September..Good luck to you on your journey
