Hello all I am at a stand still once again I was so excited I received a letter from my insurance company that says Im approved for surgery on 06-26-05 by the way Im dealing with UC Physicians also had to have a sleep study which I completed on 07-06-05. I wait and wait to hear something anything from anybody Im checking the mailbox everyday for my surgery date still nothing. I call to the office and Im told that UC hasn't received the results of my sleep study Its been almost a month should it take that long???? Whenever you call the office you never get to talk to anyone all you get is voicemail after voicemail after voicemail. Im so frustrated I do everything Im told to do and they don't keep up their end of the deal. I have had nothing but problems with this process first they didnt get my packet and I had to resend that and now this. Oh well I guess I will press on I feel a little better since I've gotten that off my chest. Thanks everyone for listening.

I sure wish you had gone to Dr. Curry. They always talk to you and would have had a date for you probably within a week. Why dont you call him and see if he can help you, Good luck, Cindy

No wonder your wife gets mad at you lol. Did Josh come to your office with that new stuff for pain? Have you tried it and does it work? It sounds like a great thing but I will take the drugs anytime. Cindy

Felicia, I'm so sorry that you've had such a bumpy ride.... I can't say enough good things about UC Surgeons. I'm 7 weeks out, have lost 38 pounds and have had no complications or bad side effects. I would do it all over again in a heart beat if necessary. Everything has gone better than I could ever have asked for! Yes, the paperwork and insurance process does wreak havic with your nerves.... I know that I was a basket case because my insurance was supposed to change soon and I really wanted to have this surgery before it became an exclusion. I hope that it will all come together for you soon! I know that it did for me.... and, should for you now that you have Dr. Selwyn's attention!!! Hang in there!!! This will all be behind you soon and you will feel like a totally new person. Believe me, it is the best thing that I could ever have done... my health is so much better in just 7 weeks its almost like a miracle!!! Take care, Karen
