Such a bumpy ride!!
Hello my sweet friends!
It's been a rough ride since surgery on 6/23/05. My mom took me to the ER on 6/28/05 due to an impacted bowel. That was HORRIBLE. Then my mom realized I wasn't getting enough protein, and we upped the protein, and I sprang to life!!
Things were groovin' right along, I was getting into the routine of eating and drinking...and whammo! I was rear-ended at a red light on 7/21. I was sitting there, minding my own business, and a big car was going too fast and hit a little car that slammed into me. Yes, I was shaken up, I just hope my back feels better (because I am hurting) but I can't dwell on what happened.
Since 7/21, I've been feeling very sorry for myself, feeling "What else can happen now?!" Well, I wasn't killed. I wasn't maimed. The ambulance left with no one in it. Life is what I make of it, and I'm moving on with BEING A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM SO THANKFUL FOR OBESITYHELP.COM!! I LOVE YOU GUYS! -Julie
Dear Julie,
I can so relate to you. I was 15 days out from surgery and a woman pulled out in front of my car and we t-boned her. Totaled my car and I was injured. Out of work for 6 weeks because of the accident. But, I too, had much to be thankful for. I was on coumadin because of the blood thinners. Fortunately, it was not worse than it was. They did have to take me off of it. Also, I had handed the keys to my daughter and asked her if she would drive because I was a little tired....so I was not behind the steering wheel when we hit. Thank God! Finally, I am now down 113 lbs! So I too, have much to be thankful for. Good luck and God bless.
